Recipe ideas for chocolate pasta You could serve this hot or cold, as a dessert with something sweet or with a savoury sauce. For sweet pasta dishes you could serve warm or cold - with a soft cream sauce with chocolate grated in, strawberries, merangue pieces, warm chocolate sauce, raspberries - or any combination of yummy ingredients. Think of all the flavours you like with chocolate, whether it's orange, nuts, rum, pear. Use subtle combinations of flavours to add a quick sauce to the pasta - use a chocolate base sauce or cream.
For a more savory approach I'd try a light cream sauce as you'd have
maybe for a carbonara, but with bacon, roast cherry tomatoes and fresh
basil leaves. The mexicans make a hot dish called Mole Poblano which features chillies and chocolate in a soup like dish. It's got onions, garlic, tomatoes, tortillas, cloves, fennel seeds, cinnamon, cumin, sesmae seeds, almonds, raisins, and peanut butter in. There are several veal in chocolate sauce recipes I've seen so perhaps you could make a light veal stew and serve with the chocolate pasta to create a twist.

Want to make your own chocolate pasta?200gr of semolina flour is sifted.
Mix and then work by hand until smooth. Leave for 1 1/2 hours in the fridge tightly wrapped. Sieve cocoa powder and icing sugar and use as you would flour to stop the dough sticking as you work it. Cut into three and roll until very thin - use your pasta roller if you've got one.
Sprinkle on more cocoa/sugar mix and then roll up loosely and cut into sections which will unravel when you lay them out on a tea towel. Cook in lots of boiling water for a couple of minutes until they're done. Serve with chocolate sauce or icecream or a topping of your choice.
